Another stellar karate grading result from UCD Karate with promotions across the board!
Our first summer grading in years was made possible by the continuous participation of our members. While the quiet summer months are usually marked by inactivity of other clubs, we have been hard at work, training 3 times a week, and awarded 8 new promotions to our members from 8th kyu up to 2nd kyu:

- Ahmed (8th)
- Karthika (7th)
- Miao (7th)
- Barry (7th)
- Alex (5th)
- Zung (3rd)
- Liz (2nd)
Special thanks to sensei Neville Reilly (5th Dan JKA) for the excellent class and grading session. All three of UCD Karate instructors, Darragh, Donal and Bill took their time off and were present to follow the progress of the examination of their students.
We also said goodbye to one of our long-time member, Danny, who’s been involved with the club for a decade. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours in Germany!
